At Lombard CRC we are committed to growing our faith and love in Jesus Christ. For children and adults alike, we offer several education-based ministries to help further understand and appreciate our Christian Reformed faith, as well as helping to learn to live for (and honor) God.
Is God nudging you to get connected with other believers, to find a small group that shares and encourages you in your spiritual journey? Life Groups are small groups of men and women from all generations of life who meet regularly and walk through life together, focusing on fellowship, care, accountability, study, and service.
God made us for community. Community on a deeper level is hard to do on a Sunday morning. Life Groups allow smaller groups of people to connect more deeply with fellow believers in Christ, to uphold and encourage each other in our faith walk, and be there for each other in the ups and downs of life.
Are you seeking a safe place to share your life burdens and the challenges in your faith? Are you looking for a group of fellow believers who can share in the joys and victories in your life? Are you longing to be challenged in your faith in Jesus and grow in your knowledge of the Bible to strengthen your spiritual life? Joining a Life Group is a great way to meet these needs in your life.
The Life Group ministry year is typically mid-September through May. This coming ministry year, all of our groups will be studying The Apostles Creed, a 12 lesson study on learning and going deeper into this creed that is so important to our church. We gather together after Sunday worship to encourage one another to grow spiritually by studying God's Word, discussing current issues affecting the church in the world and investigating opportunities for service in our community.
Adult Education is intended to provide educational opportunities for adults as a means to further develop their knowledge and love for the Lord. Various topics are chosen to both inspire and challenge. Missionary presentations and other events are also offered periodically.
During our Sunday worship service we offer a special Children’s Worship where children are dismissed partway through our service to attend their own special time of worship. Children’s Worship is a meaningful and age appropriate worship experience that gives children the opportunity to know, love and worship God through Biblically-based songs, stories and activities.
Offered during the school year for children kindergarten through high school. Students are taught age-appropriate Biblical lessons and how to apply these lessons to their own lives

Lombard CRC offers Storytime, held the second Friday 9:30-10:30 am every month at the Lombard CRC Library
Story Time is geared towards children age 2-5, but older and younger children are welcome. Moms and their children will have an opportunity to fellowship while they play.
