What does a typical Cadet meeting consist of?

Every meeting is different, but we typically start out with some games, followed by a timeof prayer and message, then a group activity, finished by snack time and more games.

Does Cadets cost anything?
There is no membership fee. During the year the Cadets perform a fund-raising dinner where funds are collected to support the program. Occasionally there may be a cost associated with specific activities, such as a the pinewood derby car, t-shirt and camp outing, but in general we keep things as inexpensive as possible.

If I'm interested in attending, what do I do?
If interested, simply have him attend a Wednesday Cadets meeting. There is no uniform, so just show up. Parents are welcome to stay during meetings to help determine if Cadets is right for your child.

COVID safety information
We are excited to begin a new Cadets year, but we continue to be cautious in our approach as we navigate this year. To help parents in their decision if their boys should attend, we would like to provide some safety approaches Cadets will be taking.

Our first several meetings will be held primarily outdoors to help with social distancing.

We will also be implementing safety precautions such as hand sanitizer stations, and maintaining social distancing as much as possible. Boys and leaders will also be required to wear masks. And there will be no snacks (again) this year.

We also ask that parents help in our efforts. If your son is under the weather, please do not attend. If your son happens to be exposed to COVID-19, we expect you to notify our leaders so we may notify other parents and plan accordingly.
