We are all looking forward to opening our church for in-person worship once again. We will begin taking steps toward fully opening our church for in-person worship by having outdoor gatherings. The evening worship services will be a time of music, prayer, and meditation.
Please note: Our regular online services will still be held at 9:45 as usual on those days.
We realize that some will not be comfortable meeting in person in any manner at this time and that is OK. We will continue to show grace and Christian love to all who consider themselves part of the Lombard family, whether they choose to worship in person or continue to worship from their homes.
If you have been feeling ill recently, please do not come. If you consider yourself at higher risk for catching or surviving COVID-19, please do not come. While we will miss you and are anxious to see you, we value your health and wellbeing, and look forward to when we can all meet together again.
For those who do choose to come, here are the guidelines set up in order to protect the health of all in attendance.
ITEMS TO NOTE:We will be meeting on the south lawn. When you arrive, park in the lot and proceed directly to the south lawn. Remember to maintain social distancing and socially-distanced spaces will be marked out on the lawn for each household unit.
ITEMS TO BRING:
When the service is over, please continue to practice social distancing as you return to your cars. Please refrain from shaking hands, hugging and gathering in groups to talk. If rain is imminent the outdoor service will be cancelled. Thank you once again for your understanding as we plan for worship in these unusual times. As we step back into indoor worship, either soon or in the future, our hearts will be filled with God’s goodness to us and this privilege we have of worshiping in community.
