Our Thanksgiving Worship service will be held on Thursday, November 26th at 10:00 AM.

Next Sunday
We begin the season of advent. Advent comes from the word meaning ‘coming.’ It is the season of waiting, in the expectation of faith, to celebrate the truth that God has come in Jesus Christ. It is also a time for reflection on the certain truth that Jesus will come again. How exciting it is when someone we love is coming to see us. How we prepare for that! The One who loves you more than you know has come. He is coming again. Will you prepare to faithfully welcome him into every chamber of your heart – each area of your life?

Christ’s coming redeemed all the earth: justice, beauty, relationships, spirituality. We will explore each of these in the days leading up to Christmas. Next week our text is Isaiah 61:1-4.

Who has Christmas Spirit???
Yes Christmas! We are having the first Lombard CRC Free Gift Wrapping/ Babysitting, for non-church members, on Sat., Dec. 12 from 9:00 AM–1:00 PM. We are looking for volunteers to help with providing gift wrapping supplies, doing gift wrapping, babysitting, supplying baked goods, doing crafts with the kids and talking with the adults. The goal of this event is to get more people from our community in our Front Door. We know this is a busy time for everyone, especially the ladies, so we will take any amount of time you can give. Guys we need you too! A sign-up sheet is located outside of the library, as well as a box for donations under the table outside of the Fellowship Hall.
