Rev. John Huizinga
John Huizinga has served as pastor since February of 2009. He brings with him a philosophy of developing leaders within the congregation to take ownership of the different church ministries. As pastor of the congregation he is responsible for preaching and leading the congregation in worship. He also looks to further develop small groups, facilitate prayer and help develop leaders through training seminars and retreats.

Lisa DeVette
Lisa joined our congregation as the youth director in July of 2007 after graduating from Northwestern College in Orange City, Iowa. The oldest of 3 kids, she grew up in Holland, Michigan. Lisa likes spending time with the students in the congregation and hopes to equip them to lead active Christian lives long after they've graduated.

Laura Kooima
Laura has worked at LCRC since 1998 and the bookkeeper/accounts payable since 2000. Laura has been a member of Lombard for 32 years. Her current and past church activities include: Sunday School Teacher, Coffee Break Leader, Sandwiches for Roseland, and is active in small groups.

Jim Kooima
Jim grew up in Oak Park and has been a lifelong member of our congregation. He spent his time in the business world working in the trucking and construction industries. He has been working at church for the past 10 years now maintaining and caring for our facilities.

Matt Voss
Matt Voss has been the contemporary worship leader since December of 2008. He has been involved with worship at our church in one form or another since his family joined our church in 1996. Matt's responsible of planning and arranging the worship service and assembling and leading the worship teams. Matt hopes to develop young worship participants and challenge the congregation with fresh ways to worship God. Matt is married and has three young sons.

Stephen Bates
Stephen Bates graduated from Wheaton College in 2004 with majors in Music Education and Mathematics. He received his M.A. in Choral Conducting at Michigan State University in 2005. After receiving his Masters degree, Stephen taught one year at Queen of Peach High School in Burbank, IL, before accepting a position at Timothy Christian High School in Elmhurst.
